11 Times Celebrities Were Trolled For Absolutely Weird Reasons Showing What's Wrong With All Of Us
From Shah Rukh Khan getting trolled at Lata Mangeshkar and Dilip Kumar's funeral for religion to Rajkummar Rao and Deepika Padukone getting hate for a pose in photo and choice of clothes, Bollywood celebrities getting hate for weird reasons only prove how we have become heartless and what is wring with all of us.
Social media has given a podium to spread knowledge, adversely, but it has also become a pit for garbage. Anyone can make a social media account and sit behind their laptops and mobile screens at the comfort of their homes, post negative, regressive and many times hurtful and disgusting comments online. These comments are usually deliberately designed to upset the person.
There are a lot of people who target celebrities.
These recent examples of celebrities getting trolled for absolutely weird reasons only show what is wrong with our society and how heartless we have come. We have failed to build empathy for others.

Ill-informed people thought Shah Rukh Khan was spitting at Lata Mangeshkar's funeral, whereas he was actually offering dua. Those who spoke without knowledge, accused SRK of spitting while he was actually blowing air, which Muslims follow as a pious practice. For the uninitiated, reciting holy verses and then blowing air is called Ruqyah in Islamic tradition.
2. Shah Rukh Khan was trolled for wearing sunglasses for Dilip Kumar's funeral and it only shows how hate is growing stronger every day.

Mandira Bedi was trolled for wearing jeans at her husband Raj Kaushal's funeral and SRK was trolled for wearing sunglasses at Dilip Kumar's funeral. Instead of praising the gesture, people commented on his appearance.
3. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan got hate for a grieving the death of Lata Mangeshkar "so late". Is there a time limit for mourning?
A user wrote on her post, "Badi late yaad aayi". Another one said, "Aapko shukar hai yaad toh aaya". "Itni jaldi post," read another comment. "Kuch naye words seekh lo", said another user.
So, is there time limit for grieving and mourning the loss of a loved one?
4. Instead of applauding Shehnaaz Gill's strength, people targetted her for being happy post-Sidharth Shukla's demise.

As she posted a video tribute, a song titled Tu Yaheen Hai, people accused her of trying to use Sidharth Shukla's name for her own benefit. Not only this, she was accused multiple times of enjoying post his death when people should have actually applauded her strength.
5. Sara Ali Khan was trolled mercilessly for visiting Kedarnath and worshipping Bholenath.
Sara Ali Khan who made her debut with Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Kedarnath had recently visited the temple with her close friend and actress Janhvi Kapoor when she became a target of trolls. While some people abused her for praying to Hindu Gods, others targetted her religion. "Laaanat ho muslim ho kar, bhagwan ke paas jaati hoo," read a comment. It's 2022 and we are still fighting over religion?
6. Rajkummar Rao got trolled for posting a mirror selfie of wife, and it only shows how people think.
Even Rajkummar Rao later said that he laughs at people who think like this. He, however, had soon deleted the photo after getting trolled. " It¡¯s about a picture I poster with Patra (Patralekhaa), where I thought she was looking beautiful. And nobody got it, like it¡¯s a mirror reflection. People thought she was sitting in a particular pose, of course why would we do that? We are also mature and responsible people," he told KoiMoi.
7. Deepika Padukone got hate for her choice of clothes and it was deeply sexist.
In a condescending Instagram note, an influencer commented on Deepika Padukone's outfit she wore to promote the new film Gehraiyaan.
8. It's Malaika Arora's right to wear a bra or not, but some people don't understand this.

10. People were praying that Swara Bhasker should die after she tested positive for Covid-19.

11. R Madhavan was trolled because his home "is home to staff of all faiths ".
"Why do they have a across in the background?! Is that a Mandir? You just lost my respect. Do you find Hindu Gods in Christian churches? All this is fake drama you did today!," a twitter user wrote.
