No Matter How Much We Diss Nepotism, We Will Still Watch The Debut Movies Of These Star Kids
From Irrfan Khan's son Babil to Sara Tendulkar, from Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan to son Aryan Khan, here is a list of star kids who are all set to make their Bollywood debuts soon.
R Madhavan's son recently said that he doesn't want to live in the shadow of his celebrity father; he doesn't want to know as Madhavan's son and rather wants to make a name for himself. He is not only making his family proud as people have started calling his father Vedaant Madhvan's father, but he is also making the nation proud. He won silver and gold medals in swimming at Danish Open.
On the other hand, there are star kids who follow in the footsteps of their parents. This has always brought forth the topic of nepotism, which has never reached its conclusion. Every year several star kids make their big Bollywood debut. While some succeed, others fail to live up to their parents' stardom.
No matter how much these star kids get trolled on social media in the name of nepotism, their debut will sure catch our fancy and we all will watch their films, wouldn't we? Here is a list of star kids who are all set to make their debuts likely this year.
1. Sara Tendulkar
Not the first time, there have been reports suggesting earlier as well that cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara Tendulkar will make her debut with Shahid Kapoor. While Sachin had rubbished the reports earlier, once again the grapevine is abuzz that she is gearing up for movie debut. The details about the film have been kept under wraps. For the unversed, Sara Tendulkar is already quite popular among fans. Internet was impressed with her when she made her modeling debut.
2. Suhana Khan
Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan is all set to make her debut with Gully Boy fame Zoya Akhtar's The Archies. It's a Netflix film about with Akhtar had said, "It was a large part of my childhood and teenage years. The characters are iconic and globally loved, which is also why I am a little nervous. I have to make sure the film stokes the nostalgia of a generation that grew up on the comic and yet resonates with the young adults today."
3. Babil Khan
Irrfan Khan's son Babil Khan had dropped out of college to focus on his acting career after his father's death due to cancer. He was studying for BA degree in filmography from the University of Westminster. Babil Khan will be making his debut with Anvita Dutt directorial Qala which also features Tripti Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee in pivotal roles. His second project will be helmed by Sardar Udham director Shoojit Sircar. For the unversed, Irrfan was the first choice to play the lead role in Shoojit¡¯s Sardar Udham, but he opted out of the film due to his health issues and then Vicky Kaushal was cast in the role.
4. Shanaya Kapoor
Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor¡¯s daughter Shanaya Kapoor's debut film has already been announced. She will be launched by Karan Johar in a forthcoming film called Bedhadak. To be directed by Shashank Khaitan, the movie also stars newcomer Lakshay Lalwani and Guilty actor Gurfateh Singh Pirzada.
5. Agastya Nanda
Amitabh Bachchan has confirmed his grandson Agastya Nanda is making his debut with The Archies. Agastya was spotted on the sets of the film during the costume trial along with Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Big B shared a sweet note for Agastya that read, "Agastya .. a new chapter begins in your life and there cannot be greater joy among us all .. my blessings my love and my wishes ever .. do well .. AND keep the flag flying !!!" However, he deleted the post later.
6. Aryan Khan
Not as an actor, Aryan Khan is reportedly making his debut as a writer. Khan who was seen at IPL auctions 2022, is writing a project that will be backed by Red Chillies Entertainment. According to a report on Pinkvilla, he will be writing for an Amazon Prime show and a feature film. The show will likely get a greenlit from the streaming giant this year itself.
7. Ibrahim Ali khan
Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's son Ibrahim Ali Khan is assisting Karan Johar on Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt¡¯s next Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Saif Ali Khan had earlier said, "Ibrahim seems prepared for a career in acting. And why not? I¡¯d like all my children to be in this profession. It is the best place to work in."
8. Khushi Kapoor
Along with Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda, Sridevi's second daughter Khushi Kapoor is also making her debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies. Speaking about Khushi's debut, father Boney Kapoor had said, "She will start shooting for her film in April. Can't tell you more, you will know more about it soon."
9. Alizeh Agnihotri
Salman Khan's niece Alizeh Agnihotri, who is his sister Alvira and Atul Agnihotri's daughter, is reportedly making her Bollywood debut with a remake of a Thai film titled Bad Genius. The film will be helmed by Netflix¡¯s Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega director Soumendra Padhi. She was earlier rumoured to be making her debut in a Avnish Barjatya film that starred Sunny Deol¡¯s younger son Rajveer. However, the project has been postponed indefinitely.
10. Junaid Khan
Aamir Khan's son Junaid is gearing up for his Bollywood debut. The aspiring actor will romance Bunty Aur Babli 2 fame Sharvari Wagh in the film which is reportedly based on the infamous 1862 Maharaja libel case. He will essay the role of Karsandas Mulji. Sharvari Wagh had revealed that the film might release this year.
