In an unfortunate incident, a female fan reportedly died due to a stampede with another child remaining critical due to the same incident. The makers also ensured that they saved themselves from piracy after Pushpa 2 was immediately available on torrent sites, the access to which has since been blocked.

3. Ticket price controversy reaches court

A roaring controversy around the price of Pushpa 2 tickets reached the Andhra Pradesh High Court where the complainant urged for the stay in the release of the film. The court rejected all petitions, ensuring a smooth release of the film in theatres while stating the govt follows its own orders passed recently in a petition on the same subject.

4. Pushpa 2 set to become the highest Indian opener and break major records

We can say the big feats Pushpa 2 is set to achieve were something quite expected. The movie is expected to gross over Rs 250 crores worldwide by the end of day 1 making it the biggest opener in Indian history.
