Sky Force's Veer Pahariya comments on videos trolling him for 'forced promotions'
Veer Pahariya is facing online mockery for his aggressive PR campaign following the release of his debut film, Sky Force. Social media users are calling his promotion "forced" and comparing it to Triptii Dimri¡¯s rise, with one user joking that Veer¡¯s looks are too generic.
Veer Pahariya appears to be on a PR binge since the release of his debut film, Sky Force, last week, or so the internet believes. People appear to have had enough of the actor, as they began mocking him in videos and comments for his constant public relations efforts. Veer has also joined the party, having started commenting on such amusing films online.
Veer Pahariya comments on videos trolling him
An Instagram user posted a Reel in which he can be seen speaking to the camera and claiming that every fourth Reel he opens is of Veer. He considers it "forced promotion" and scoffs at his public relations team's portrayal of him as a "national crush," a la Triptii Dimri following her role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 2023 hit family crime film Animal. The user thinks Veer's face is so "generic" that he can locate a guy in every second flat in his building who looks like it.
The user also referenced Veer's latest claimed public relations stunt in which he went to a movie cinema to see Sky Force. During the event, he began dancing with a girl in the audience to his song Rang.
The user joked that no one in the theatre recognised Veer despite seeing him on television. Veer commented on this user's Reel, using the laughing with tears emoji.
In the video, a sample of Veer dancing to the song Rang is juxtaposed with audio of the popular kids' song Lakdi Ki Kathi from Shekhar Kapur's 1983 directorial debut, Masoom.
Other rookies whose funny clips made it to the Reel were Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan, who will soon make his theatrical debut with Advait Chandan's romance comedy Loveyapa, and Aaman Devgan, Ajay Devgn's nephew, who made his acting debut with Abhishek Kapoor's recent period drama Azaad. Veer also used the laughing with tears emoji on this reel.
