Thandel makes a strong impact at the box office on day 8

Naga Chaitanya is in the limelight because of his latest film Thandel, which has emerged as a commercial success. It continued its run on Friday, February 14. According to Sacnilk, it earned Rs 2.64 crore in India yesterday. This is 17% higher than what it made on February 13.

Day 2: Rs 12.1 crore

Fay 3: Rs 12.75 crore

Day 4: Rs 4.5 crore

Day 5: Rs 3.6 crore

Day 6: Rs 2.7 crore

Day 7: Rs 2.25 crore

Day 8: Rs 2.64 crore

The film's total collection stands at Rs 52 crore. Thandel received mixed reviews with critics praising the performances but panning the execution. The mixed word-of-mouth, however, has not affected the film too much. As such, it is likely to witness good growth over the second weekend.

Thandel is an action-thriller, presented by Allu Aravind. The film centres on the hardships faced by Indian fishermen after they accidentally drifting into Pakistani waters. The cast is headlined by Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. It also features Rao Ramesh, Divya Pillai, and Prakash Belawadi in key roles. Devi Sri Prasad is its music composer.

Thandel hit the screens on February 7 and is currently playing theatres.
