Vidaamuyarchi Box Office Collection Day 3: Ajith Kumar's latest action film has officially crossed the Rs 90 crore mark at the domestic box office. Released on February 6, the thriller saw significant growth on Saturday, helping it reach this milestone, primarily driven by strong earnings in the Tamil market. While Vidaamuyarchi had a slow start at the box office, it has still managed to cater well to its fanbase.

After a quieter Friday, the film's business picked up on Saturday, which saw only a slight increase in ticket sales during the evening shows. On Friday, it earned Rs 10.25 crore, but the collection jumped to Rs 13.5 crore by Saturday. Adding the Rs 26 crore from Thursday, Vidaamuyarchi has accumulated Rs 49.75 crore in total earnings over the first three days.
With a domestic gross of Rs 59.7 crore and overseas of Rs 32.3 crore, Vidaamuyarchi's worldwide total currently stands at Rs 92 crore. Out of this, Rs 48.55 crore has come from the Tamil version, while the Telugu version has contributed Rs 1.2 crore. With the action thriller filmed mainly in Azerbaijan, it could become the first Tamil film of 2025 to cross the Rs 100 crore mark.

Other than Ajith, it also stars Arjun Sarja, Trisha Krishnan, Regina Cassandra, Arav and Ramya Subramanian in key roles. Written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaamuyarchi is inspired by the 1997 American film Breakdown. Bankrolled by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions, this Anirudh Ravichander's musical is cinematographed by Om Prakash and edited by N. B. Srikanth.
