Vidaamuyarchi, Ajith Kumar's first release in Thunivu, witnessed a major dip in collections on its fifth day after a solid first weekend. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, the film earned Rs 3 crore (nett) in India on February 10. This is 76% lower than the 12.5 crore it collected on its first Sunday.

Day 1: Rs 26 crore

Day 2: Rs 10.25 crore

Day 3: Rs 13.5 crore

Day 4: Rs 12.5 crore

Day 5: Rs 3 crore

The total collection stands at nearly Rs 65 crore. Vidaamuyarchi received mixed reviews with critics lauding the performances but panning the screenplay. The average word-of-mouth has affected its performance.
