Vidaamuyarchi box office collection day 16: Vidaamuyarchi, one of the biggest films of the year, hit the screens on February 6 much to the delight of fans and opened to a good response at the box office. It subsequently stayed strong/stable at the box office but didn¡¯t reach the levels set by Viswasam and Thunivu. The film is now on the verge of ending its run.
Vidaamuyarchi nears the end of its run
Ajith Kumar is in the limelight because of his latest film Vidaamuyarchi., one of the biggest Kollywood releases of the year. According to Koimoi, an entertainment portal, it earned merely Rs 7 lakh (nett) on its 16th day. This is considerably lower than the Rs 47 lakh it earned on February 20. It faced competition from the new releases Dragon and NEEK yesterday.

The action thriller received mixed reviews with critics lauding the performances but panning the execution. This affected the film once the initial buzz faded.
