Dhanush and Nayanthara recently attended a producer's wedding. In a video, the two are seen in the front row during the ceremony. This comes days after 'Thalaivi' hit out at the star for refusing to let her use clips and songs from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in a documentary.
Nayanthara, one of the biggest names in the Tamil film industry, recently made headlines when she hit out at Dhanush for not letting her use footage from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015) in a Netflix documentary about her life. Now, just days after the controversy, Nayan and the National Award-winner are in the limelight again. The two recently attended a wedding but avoided interacting with each other.

Producer Aakash Bhaskaran¡¯s wedding proved to be a star-studded affair with some big names from the industry in attendance. Dhanush and Nayanthara attended the function and wished the producer on his big day. However, the actors avoided interacting with each other. Going by a video which has now gone viral, the stars were in the front but on opposite sides. They consciously avoided acknowledging each other¡¯s presence. ¡®Thalaivi¡¯ chatted with a guest. The Maari star, on the other hand, enjoyed the ceremony.

This comes days after Nayanthara slammed Dhanush for not letting her use footage from Naanum Rowdy Thaan in Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale, a documentary about her life. She also revealed that he sent her a legal notice for using footage from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which he produced under Wunderbar Films, in her documentary without getting his approval.
Nayanthara went on to accuse him of behaving like a ¡®tyrant¡¯ and harboring ill feelings towards the film.
In case you did not know, Nayanthatra and director Vignesh Shivan fell in love during the shoot of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan (2015) They eventually tied the knot in 2022. Moreover, the film received rave reviews and proved to be a game changer for the ¡®Lady Superstar¡¯.

Nayanthara, meanwhile, is going through an exciting phase on the work front. The Jawan star will soon be seen in The Test, co-starring Madhavan and Siddharth. She also has the eagerly-awaited Mookuthi Amman 2, directed by Sundar C, in her kitty. Dhanush, on the other hand, is set to woo the audience with Kubera, which has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. The film features Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. The cast also includes Nagarjuna and Made in Heaven actor Jim Sarbh.
