Filmmaker Suggests Women To Carry Condom And Cooperate In Rape, Internet Calls Him 'Sick'

A charred body of a 26-year-old veterinarian doctor was found in Hyderabad after being brutally raped and murdered. This news shocked the entire nation and there is still a long way for the road to recovery.

While the nation still mourns the death and the brutal rape and murder of the Hyderabad girl, the corrective and suggestive measures in order to 'prevent' rape are making us hang our head in shame.

The recommendations that have been coming from all across the nation in order to prevent rape is so appalling that it'll make you question our moral fibre!

Just a few days ago, a Samajwadi Party MP called for rapists to be publicly lynched. Soon after, a Trinamool Congress MP, as well as BJP MP, called for public hangings of rapists. But wait. There is more to it.

Right after the news of the vet's murder and rape spread like wildfire causing rage and unrest in the country, Telangana's law minister purported that the victim should have called 100 instead of calling her sister when she was attacked. Just when we thought it could not get any worse, Filmmaker Daniel Shravan has a proposal that will fill you up with disgust and disappointment.

According to the filmmaker, every woman should carry a condom at a rapist's disposal so that they can offer them a hassle-free experience. Filmmaker Daniel Shravan took to Facebook (the post has now been deleted) where he posted a number of messages where he proposed a "rape without violence" scheme.

"Rape is not a serious thing, but murder is inexcusable, Shravan wrote, adding that it was the strict punishments for rape were the reason why rapists were killing their victims instead of just raping and leaving them. He further added that"rape without violence" will at least assure women that they will not die.

The nail on the coffin was when he added that "society and women's organisations are the main culprits" behind the "cruel death" of rape victims. Here are some more excerpts from his post!

-Girls above 18 should be educated on rape, i.e, taught not to refuse the sexual desires of men.

-'Nirbhaya Act' can't control violent rape so women take their own protection in their own hands and carry condoms to give to the rapist.

-Rape is better than murder. Murder is a sin, rape is corrective punishment.

-According to his logic: When men's sexual desires are fulfilled by rape, they will not kill the victim.

-Rapes should be ignored by police, women and women's rights organizations so that rapists don't hunt down the victim and later go on to disfiguring and mutilating them.

He went ahead and removed his post, singer Chinmayi Sripaada shared the screenshots of his post on her Twitter page and slammed him in series of tweets!
