Amid The Roaring Success Of KGF: Chapter 2, Yash Hints 'KGF: Chapter 3' Is Already In Works
Superstar Yash has hinted that KGF: Chapter 3 is already in the works. He said that there's more to the story of Rocky and he has already discussed some scenes with director Prashanth Neel.
KGF: Chapter 2 has caused havoc at the box office. The movie will soon surpass Rs 1000 crores at the global box office and thus become the fourth Indian film to achieve the feat after Dangal, Baahubali: The Conclusion and RRR. Now, Yash who is now being hailed as a superstar has hinted that KGF: Chapter 3 is already in the works.
The ideation on KGF 3 has begun. However, it's still in the nascent stage. "Already we have thought of a lot of scenes, me and Prashanth Neel," Yash told Variety.
KGF: Chapter 2's post-credits scene also hints that there is more to Rocky¡¯s story. About that Yash said:
"There are a lot of things which we couldn¡¯t do in Chapter 2. So we know there are a lot of possibilities, a lot of kick-ass scenes are there. But it¡¯s just an idea. And we¡¯ve just left it there right now."
After the roaring success of South Indian movies like RRR and KGF at the global office, the discussion on whether South cinema will take over Bollywood is already going on.
Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui feels it is just a phase that will disappear soon.
"I think it's just a phase, now if a Bollywood film comes and becomes a super-duper hit, then the things you are saying right now, that will change. Here people's thoughts change after every picture, people only talk about the film that becomes a hit. But if a Hindi picture comes now and becomes a super-duper hit, this perception will change again", he said.
When Abhishek Bachchan was asked about the increasing number of remakes of South films, he called it an unfair question. Here's what he said.
"Are you telling me that Hindi films are not being remade in the South? That is an unfair question because no matter what you say the answer comes out defensive. We all are part of the Indian film industry. We might work in different languages, but we are part of the same industry. We all cater to the same audience. It is not entirely fair to label any film industry. Films in Hindi or any languages have always been remade. It is not a new phenomenon. There has always been an exchange (of content) all the time. Nothing wrong in that."
Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting for KGF: Chapter 3. Are you too?
