How to register for the Char Dham Yatra 2024?
To join the Char Dham Yatra 2024, you must register either at the registration center or through the Tourist Care Uttarakhand app, which you can find on Android and iOS devices. Another option is to register via Whatsapp by sending a message saying ¡°Yatra¡± to +91 8394833833.

How to reach Gangotri?
Gangotri town has good road connectivity. It's approximately 270 km from Rishikesh, and travelers can easily book buses or taxis from Rishikesh and Haridwar.
How to reach Yamunotri?
To reach Yamunotri, the starting point of the Char Dham pilgrimage, you need to travel to Janki Chatti, around 220 km by road from Rishikesh. Buses and taxis are readily available. From Janki Chatti, you'll embark on a 5-km uphill journey to Yamunotri Dham. Pony and doli services are offered.
How to reach Kedarnath?
You can travel to Kedarnath by taking Yatra Buses from Rishikesh or Haridwar. Alternatively, you can hire a taxi from Haridwar or Rishikesh to Gaurikund, the last road stop before Kedarnath. From Gaurikund, you'll need to undertake a 17-km uphill trek to reach Kedarnath Dham. Pony, doli (palanquin), and helicopter shuttle services are also available.
How to reach Badrinath?
Buses and taxis are easily accessible from Rishikesh and Haridwar to Badrinath, which is approximately 300 km from Rishikesh and 320 km from Haridwar.
