Diwali 2023 Laxmi Puja Samagri: Diwali Lakshmi Puja is a Hindu ritual performed to worship the goddess Laxmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. It is performed on the Amavasya Tithi of the Kartika month, which usually falls in October or November.

On the day of Diwali also known as Deepavali, devotees light earthen lamps, decorate their homes with flowers and rangoli, prepare and gorge on a variety of sweets and savouries, wear new clothes, and most importantly, perform Laxmi Puja.

Though the festival marks Shri Rama's return to Ayodhya (his birthplace) after spending fourteen years in exile, devotees also pray to Goddess Laxmion this day.
