Masik Krishna Janmashtami 2025: Laddu Gopal Puja Vidhi

To do Laddu Gopal Puja on Masik Krishna Janmashtami, follow these steps:

• Wake up early and take a holy bath.
• Clean your house and the puja room properly.
• Clean the temple area and sprinkle Ganga water to purify it.
• Wear clean yellow clothes.
• Place a clean cloth on a wooden platform and put the idols of Lord Krishna and Radha Rani on it.
• Bath Laddu Gopal Ji with plain water, Gangajal, and then Panchamrit (a mix of milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sugar).
• Dress them beautifully, apply special makeup, and adorn them with a new dress, crown (mukut), peacock feather (mor pankh), and flute.
• Apply a yellow sandalwood (chandan) tilak on his forehead.

Lord Krishna was born on Ashtami Tithi, Krishna Paksha, at midnight when Rohini Nakshatra was present. Lord Vishnu took birth as Krishna to restore Dharma and defeat the cruel King Kansa. Before Krishna¡¯s birth, Lord Vishnu asked Goddess Yogmaya to help in his mission. Krishna was born to Devaki and Vasudev in Mathura, while Yogmaya was born to Yashoda and Nanda in Gokul.

To protect Krishna, Vasudev carried him across the Yamuna River with the help of Shesh Nag and exchanged him with Yogmaya. When Kansa tried to harm the baby girl, she revealed her divine form and warned him of his fate.
