ARMYs vs. Big Hit interns: BTS label's piracy crackdown at J-Hope's concert ignites memefest on X
BTS label Big Hit is on a mission to take down pirated links to J-Hope's concert, and ARMYs are having a field day making memes about it. A meme war has now errupted on X as J-Hope performs the final concert of his Seoul leg.

J-Hope is working hard at his concert, but Big Hit interns are working even harder to take down illegal links and safeguard his content from piracy. Fans who couldn't travel to Seoul are searching for streaming links online to catch a glimpse of Hobi, who has been setting the stage ablaze with his moves, as seen in viral concert clips.
While companies usually track the dissemination of such information among fan clubs on social media, Big Hit Entertainment, the agency behind BTS, has shocked ARMYs this time around with its proactiveness. One particular account has caught fans' attention, with many believing it could be a Big Hit employee due to the user's ruthless tracking of illegal links and requests for fans to add them to group chats.
The chaos has sparked a memefest on X, with ARMYs taking hilarious digs at the BTS agency.
Big Hit employees working overtime to take down illegal links
Securing a ticket to a K-pop concert requires deep pockets, but for a BTS show, even money can't guarantee the best seat. Tickets sell out in the blink of an eye, leaving fans reeling. By the time you click "buy," it's already a sold-out show.
So, what's a devoted fan to do? They resort to grainy streams from pirated links just to catch a glimpse of their idol. That's exactly what BTS fans have been doing, but Big Hit is not letting them operate in peace. The agency has been actively taking down links to illegal streaming sites showing J-Hope's concert, leaving ARMYs both frustrated and impressed.
Is it a fan, or is it a BigHit employee in disguise?
One account, which went by the handle @jigwonno8, has particularly caught fans' attention with its suspicious activities. The account, which joined X in January 2025, has Big Hit's motto¡ª"We believe in Music"¡ªas its bio and follows the company's official accounts. The account has J-Hope's Hope on the Stage concert's concept photo as the profile picture and has relentlessly been commenting, "Send me the links" and "Add me in the group chat" under almost all the fan posts. While it's not new for fans to converse and seek links to livestream, the fact that a new account has been so proactive during concerts has raised eyebrows.
