Are You An Elder sibling? We Bet You Know These Situations All Too Well
Older siblings have been like a third parent for their younger sisters and brothers. Older sister from Houston took to Twitter to express what every older sibling feels. A lot of elder siblings shared instances of the partial treatment.
"Why are elder siblings always so angry?"
"Because we had to raise kids we didn't make!?"
This is a long-standing joke, among us older siblings, who can attest to the fact we have been like a third parent for our younger sisters and brothers. Whether it's covering up for them, helping them sneak back home after a night of partying, or just putting some sense into their heads, as a responsible firstborn we have done it all!

Besides being a third parent to your siblings, an older sister from Houston took to Twitter to express what every older sibling feels.
when my mom found my weed in high school she cried for 3 days, enrolled me in addiction therapy, grounded me for 2 months and took the car away. Yesterday, 6 years later, my mom found my little sisters weed and politely asked her to stop smoking and that was it.

She talks about how harshly she was punished by her mom for smoking weed but no points for guessing what happened to the little one? NOTHING.
Little siblings don¡¯t read this

Older siblings we must unionize and demand better conditions and equal treatment
This is a universal issue.
Like this tweet about how parents are partial to their second or later borns, went viral. A lot of elder siblings shared instances of the partial treatment and the result is a hilarious roaster of tweets that will have you saying "OMG so true", the entire time.

I feel this. I had to wait until I was 13 for a phone of my own, I asked and asked for years. My younger brother however, got one at 7 because ¡°we can¡¯t give one without the other¡±... ?

When my mom found out I was on academic probation for having one bad semester she nearly threw me out. My little sister BARELY graduated high school (and I mean barely) and she threw her a party (I did not get one)

The oldest of 3 here. I never went on a date till I was out of high school. The only "date" I ever went on before then my dad made me bring my friend & he checked his drivers licn & insurance before we could leave the house.

My parents told me they would call the cops on me without a second thought if they ever caught me drinking. Fast forward seven years to my sister's high school graduation, when my dad asked my sister what kind of beer she wanted. ???¡â?
