Sanjana Sanghi delivers powerful speech at UNDP: We ask for a seat at the tables of change
The actress who made her debut in Sushant Singh Rajput's last film Dil Bechara has now partnered with UNDP to promote youth-lead social innovation and progress. She delivered an empowering speech today
Bollywood actor Sanjana Sanghi partnered with United Nations Development Programme, India early last year. Since then, the actor has been working closely with the brand to elevate and uplifting the lives of women, youth and Indians.
She recently delivered a powerful speech at UNDP conference asking for tables of change. Giving a strong empowering message to the world through UNDP, Sanjhana said, "All we ask is for a seat at the tables of change. All we ask is to be given genuine opportunities of engagement in private sectors, in the government, at the UN or at academia."
UNDP posted a clip of her speech and wrote, "Youth are the future & our decisions, actions & opinions are key to shaping #OurCommonFuture.

Sanjana, who is a UNDP Youth Champion of India, is a strong believer of better and stronger tomorrow with the help of young Indians. She wore a lovely purple top for the event. Sanjhana matched her earrings to her outfit and put dewy make up to complete her look. Her hair neatly tied into a ponytail.
On World Environment Day in June 2024 too, Sanjana joined hands with other UNDP ambassadors to give out a message on climate change too. In the video, she talks about how apart from being an actor, she is a generation restoration.
On the movie front, Sanjana was last seen in Dhak Dhak and Woh Bhi Din They. The actor made her Bollywood debut with Dil Bichara alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. The movie happened to be his last as SSR committed suicide and passed away on June 14, 2020. She was heavily trolled, bullied and criticised for not speaking about #MeToo incidents that could have lead to his untimely death. She dismissed any such reports.
