Section A of the CBSE Class 12 chemistry exam consisted of 15-18 MCQs that were mainly reactions or formula-based and moderate in difficulty. While Section B contained 5-7 very short answer questions, which were relatively tough. Sections C and D included short and long answer questions, respectively; it was time-consuming (especially the case-study-based one).
