India has officially become the world¡¯s fourth-largest economy, overtaking Japan, according to NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam. Speaking after the 10th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog in New Delhi, Subrahmanyam said the country's economy now stands at $4 trillion. Growth trajectory and future projections
NITI Aayog believes India¡¯s current economic momentum will continue if the outlined strategies are followed. This projection is based on sustained growth trends and policy planning.
India¡¯s manufacturing advantage and asset monetisation
Responding to recent comments by former US President Donald Trump regarding Apple manufacturing iPhones in the US instead of countries like India, Subrahmanyam said that future tariff changes are not certain. However, he stated that India remains a competitive and cost-effective destination for manufacturing.
