171 customers, 19 pub staff, a cashier, three managers and two owners were held.
According to TOI, an FIR was lodged under IPC Indian Penal Code sections 188 (disobeying order duly promulgated by public servant) and 285 (negligent conduct with respect to fire or combustible matter).
The Maharashtra government has extended the lockdown restrictions till November 30. To combat the spike in COVID cases, the MVA government has eased restrictions in a phased manner.
From October 5, bars and restaurants were permitted to open with 50 per cent seating capacity.
