7-Year-Old Abducted, Raped & Left To Die In Forest In Madhya Pradesh; Found With Throat Slit
A seven-year-old girl was abducted from outside her school and allegedly raped assaulted by the unidentified person before being abandoned at a secluded place in Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh. When the minor girl was found her throat was slit there were deep cuts on her face and deep injuries all over her body. Reports suggest that the accused has been arrested The police have also recovered his blood-stained clothes.
The day ministry of women and child development rejected the Thomson Reuters Foundation poll stating that India is the most dangerous for women, a seven-year-old girl was abducted from outside her school and allegedly raped, assaulted by the unidentified person before being abandoned at a secluded place in Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh.
When the minor girl was found, her throat was slit, there were deep cuts on her face and deep injuries all over her body.
"The girl was found near Lakshman Darwaza on Wednesday morning around 10:00 am. The girl was found with injuries all over her body. She was raped. We rushed her to a nearby hospital, but she was later referred to Indore for further treatment," said Manoj Singh, Superintendent of Police, Mandsaur.

The family searched around for her and approached the police in the evening to file a missing complaint.

Next morning, the minor girl was found in a forest area near Lakshman Darwaza, just 700 metres away from the school. The assault marks were visible, the water bottle, school bag and lunchbox were lying nearby. An empty beer bottle was found near the spot.
She was soon rushed to a hospital in Mandsaur from where she was sent to Indore for better treatment. The medical report confirmed rape and that she was attacked by sharp-edged weapons.
Doctors say that the girl had lost a lot of blood during the assault and continues to be in critical condition.
The CCTV cameras installed near the school, helped police nab the culprit. In the video, the girl can be seen following the accused. The police said that the accused lured the girl by telling her about a family emergency.

Reports suggest that the accused has been arrested. The police have also recovered his blood-stained clothes.
On Tuesday, Thomson Reuters Foundation released an opinion poll in which India topped the list of most unsafe countries for women. WCD minister Maneka Gandhi rejected the findings stating that the poll has collected opinions of 548 persons on healthcare, discrimination, cultural traditions, sexual violence, non-sexual violence and human trafficking, WCD said, "India is far ahead of many countries in most of these areas and has also seen significant improvement in indicators when compared with its own performance in previous years. Therefore, the ranking of India is a surprise and clearly inaccurate."
