The 24-year-old influencer shared a video showcasing her 72-hour itinerary in Mumbai, which included activities like attending a Pilates class, a cooking class, going clubbing, and taking a tour of the Dharavi slums.
Expressing her initial apprehension, Tara stated, "I*m not going to lie I was so nervous going into this experience, but I*m so glad I did." She highlighted the tour's unique perspective, explaining, "His motivation around starting these tours was to help break the stigma that comes with growing up in the slums."

Tara emphasised the tour's purpose, stating, "The profits from this tour are also then reinvested back into the community."
However, her promotion of the "slums tour" drew criticism from online users. One commenter stated, "'Slum tour' girl bye people live here 每 poverty is not tourism it*s not for u to be entertained." Others criticised the terminology, with one remarking, "Using the word SLUMS tour is NOT going to help break the stigma."
In defense of Tara, one commenter pointed out, "How is she being insensitive the listing literally says 'Dharavi Slums Tour' she didn*t make up the name."
The 'Dharavi Slums Tour' is advertised on Airbnb as a two-hour experience for around Rs 800.
