At This UP School, Children Are Making Ravanas Out Of Nawaz Sharif, Hafiz Saeed and ISIS !

The traditional evil trio of demon king Ravana, his brother Kumbhkarna and son Meghnad might have to give way for a newer lot this year. According to teachers and students at a school here, Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif is the new Ravana of this era, LeT co-founder Hafiz Saeed the new Meghnad, while Kumbhkarna has been renamed as IS.

The children of the school have prepared large effigies of the trio using waste material and have also decided to celebrate each Dussehra in this manner, until Pak-sponsored terrorism is brought to an end.

Not surprisingly, soldiers of Indian Army, who are fighting terrorists on the borders, are the modern Lord Rama and Laxmana for the children.

Uma Devi Children's Academy School in Mohammadi city of Kheri district has attracted considerable attention in the area with their unique take on Dussehra traditions. "Dussehra is the day when the demon king Ravana was killed by Lord Rama. Ravana was the symbol of evil in ancient times but now the demons have taken on new faces. We believe that Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif, who supports and allows all the terrorist activities in his nation, is the demon king of this era," said Sunny Gupta, media manager of the school, to TOI.

"Since Dussehra represents the day when good triumphs over evil, we have decided to replace the traditional effigies with those of Nawaz Sharif, his beloved Hafiz Saeed and IS," he added.

The idea actually popped up during a poster competition, where a few of the children painted these terrorist figures as modern Ravana, Meghnad and Kumbhkarna. This idea was supported by the principal and other staff of the school as well.

The opportunity of playing the role of modern Lord Rama and Laxman was given to class XI students Harshit Dixit and Harvinder Singh, respectively, who were dressed as Indian soldiers.

"In ancient times, people were terrorised by the demon Ravana and in this era people are being terrorised mainly because of Pakistan, because they are supporting all the terrorist activities. Whatever is evil is Ravana for us. Nawaz Sharif is openly supporting terrorism and this is why he is Ravana for us," said Harshit.

School principal Pushpa Gupta said, "Dussehra is the day when we burn all the evil energy around and inside us. I completely agree with the idea of our students to represent Nawaz Sharif as a modern-day Ravana."
