BJP's Pragya Thakur Hails Mahatma Gandhi's Murderer Nathuram Godse As 'Deshbhakt' In Parliament
BJP Member of Parliament Pragya Thakur revere Nathuram Godse the murderer of father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. She has said it on previous occasions and this time she chose temple of Indian democracy the Parliament house to repeat something that is nothing short of a hate slogan. The incident happened when DMK member A Raja cited a statement of Godse.
There seems to be a conscious effort by BJP's controversial Member of Parliament, Pragya Thakur, to revere Nathuram Godse, the murderer of father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. She has said it on previous occasions, and this time she chose temple of Indian democracy, the Parliament house to repeat something that is nothing short of a hate slogan. A person who killed Mahatma Gandhi can't be called a deshbhakt (patriot) by any stretch of imagination. But, she has done it, rather fearlessly.
And there seems to be no one to stop this venom from spreading further.

The incident happened when DMK member A Raja cited a statement of Godse on why he killed Mahatma Gandhi during a discussion on the Special Protection Group (Amendment) Bill, Thakur interrupted and said, "You cannot give example of a deshbhakt."

Raja said that Godse himself admitted that he had nursed a grudge against Gandhi for 32 years before finally deciding to assassinate him.
Godse, Raja said, killed Gandhi because he believed in a particular philosophy.

While the opposition members protested the interruption by Thakur, the BJP members persuaded her to sit down.
