Brave Cop Saves Life Of A Woman Who Slipped On Tracks While Boarding Train In Bhubaneswar

A Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel saved the life of a female passenger who slipped while trying to board a train at the Bhubaneswar railway station on Saturday, reported news agency PTI.
Nibedita Sahoo, a lecturer at the RD Women's College, lost her balance and slipped into the gap between the train and the platform, while trying to board the Puri-Sambalpur intercity express, which was on the move, officials said.

Reacting within a fraction of a second, Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable Subrat Kumar Maharana - who was deputed on the platform - ran towards her and pulled her out of the gap.
"It is my pleasure to express gratitude to Maharana for saving my life," Sahoo said.
The entire incident was caught on CCTV cameras.

The East Coast Rail congratulated the brave cop, identified as RPF Constable Subrat Kumar Maharana.
