Delhi Police Personnel Turn Good Samaritans, Donate Plasma To Save Lives Of 350 COVID Patients
Delhi Police personnel have shown that they have a human side too. They have proven to be good samaritans for COVID patients by donating plasma. As a result, 350 lives have been saved, as per a report in The New Indian Express.

42-year-old Head Constable Krishan Kumar is leading the pack.
¡°I was on a ventilator for nearly a month battling for life. Nobody thought I would survive but I did, by God¡¯s grace. After I recovered, I realised how tough it is for people running from pillar to post to save their loved ones. That¡¯s what made me donate plasma to people in need,¡± he said.
He has donated it 5 times and saved around 15 lives.
His wife too got inspired to donate plasma.
¡°I approached my seniors and colleagues to contact me if anyone needs plasma,¡± he added.
¡°A large number of Delhi Police officers and subordinate Covid warriors, after defeating the deadly disease, have gone beyond the call of duty in saving the lives of COVID-19 victims. They donated plasma to their colleagues, families, friends and even to the unknown people in Delhi and adjoining states of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana,¡± said Delhi Police PRO Eish Singhal.
As of November 23, 323 Delhi Police personnel have donated plasma. 82 did it for colleagues, 107 for family members and 134 for unknown people.
