The farmers' protests which are on for about three months now are gaining momentum after the Republic Day violence at Red Fort.
On Tuesday, when farmers celebrated Basant Panchami, a festival that marks the beginning of the harvest season, they were also faced with a situation of managing people at the protest sites.
With the season changing, more farmers will be back at fields to harvest the crops which means lesser people at protest sites.
15 people from every village
The farmers have devised a strategy to keep 15 people from every village at a time, so that the rest can tend to their crops.
Farmers have decided to carry on the agitation on a rotational basis. The length of the rotational period will depend upon the distance between their village and the protest site.
