This is the second quake to hit the state in the last 24 hours. Sunday saw a 5.5 one felt in areas like Kutch and Ahmedabad. So that is two quakes in one day.
As of now no loss of life of property as been reported. People in Ahmedabad ran out of their homes because of the constant shaking.
Back in 2001, Bhuj was rocked by a major earthquake which measured 7.7. Thousands died and a lot of buildings were damaged.
