"Rabindranath Thakur had also composed Amar Sonar Bangla, the national anthem of Bangladesh, and hence he is the only one to compose the national anthem of two countries," wrote an Instagram user.

According to the government website Know India, the duration of India's National Anthem is approximately 52 seconds. Additionally, the National Song of the nation is "Vande Mataram," composed in Sanskrit by Bankimchandra Chatterji.
Many of us learned to sing and memorise India's National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana, in school. Rabindranath Tagore, India's first Nobel laureate, composed the song in Bengali under the title 'Bharoto Bhagyo Bidhata' in 1911.
Although the song has five verses, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted only the first verse as the National Anthem on January 24, 1950. Many people are unaware that Tagore also translated the song into English.
Every year, Rabindra Jayanti is celebrated to honor the birth anniversary of the esteemed Nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore. This year commemorates the 162nd year since his birth.
Born on May 7, 1861, Tagore was a renowned writer acclaimed for his multifaceted literary prowess, spanning poetry, songs, short stories, and plays. His literary journey commenced at the tender age of eight with poetry, culminating in the publication of his first collection at the age of sixteen.
