Khalsa Aid Volunteers Gift Quran To Iraqi Refugee Camp During Ramzan, Netizens Laud Gesture
Khalsa Aid have gifted copies of the Holy Quran to people living in a refugee camp in Iraq. Muslime around the world are celebrating the holy month of Ramzaan. The manager of the camp had asked Khalsa Aid if they could arrange for the Quran.
UK-based philanthropic group Khalsa Aid have been helping people in distress for quite some time now. From helping those affected by Cyclone Fani to providing Malawi residents with potable drinking water, they have been earning plaudits from world over. Another incident of their heartfelt gesture has come to the fore. Khalsa Aid have gifted copies of the Holy Quran to people living in a refugee camp in Iraq, the Indian Express reported.

Muslime around the world are celebrating the holy month of Ramzaan that commemorates the first revelation of the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad.
The Khalsa Aid volunteers were distributing food packets for Iftar to the refugee camp residents. The manager of the camp had asked Khalsa Aid if they could arrange for the Quran. The volunteers managed to arrange for the same and video of Khalsa Aid volunteers handing out the Quran went viral in no time as netizens appreciated the group's gesture.
The Twitter account of Khalsa Aid shared the video. "This week our team delivered 5 copies of the holy book #Quran and pray mats to a camp near #Mosul, #Iraq as per the request of the camp manager where we also distributed food packs for the month of #Ramadan2019 #Iftar", they had captioned earning praises from other users.
