In the video's caption, the user wrote, "My little gentleman. I think it¡¯s so important to sensitise our boys to what the girls go through so that they learn to be more empathetic and kind. I also think it¡¯s important to work together as a team and uplift each other. I have the cutest brother ever! Hope this inspires more parents/ siblings to educate the little boys in their lives about periods."
When the birthday boy gets into the car, his older brother wishes him a happy birthday.
Since the younger brother wasn't familiar with the term 'periods,' the older brother starts the conversation and explains everything to him mentioning how getting periods is 'very painful' and that women get 'cramps.'
The birthday boy is surprised after hearing about it.
Next, the older brother teaches him how to buy sanitary napkins. The younger brother then goes to a pharmacy and asks for sanitary napkins.
The video ends with a message from the younger brother to make all the girls around him feel safe.
