Tournament format and draw
16 teams from all 5 continental federations will compete in four groups of four. Each group-stage tie features five rubbers: mixed doubles, men＊s and women＊s singles, and men＊s and women's doubles.
The top two teams from each group move to the quarter-finals, where ties become best-of-five〞ending once a team secures three wins.

India suffered a major blow ahead of the tournament as the men＊s doubles duo Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty were ruled out due to illness. The Badminton Association of India (BAI) confirmed the news via Instagram Stories on the official account.
