A circular to this effect has been issued by the Directorate of Higher Education in Uttar Pradesh. The circular mentions a blanket ban on the use of mobile phones inside universities and colleges. Read more
No SC Respite For PMC Depositors As Court Turns Down PIL Seeking Lifting Of Cash Withdrawal Limits
In a setback to the lakhs of depositors at the scam-hit Punjab & Maharashtra Co-operative Bank (PMC Bank), the Supreme Court has refused to accept a PIL seeking directions for redressal of some of the grievances.
