Nobody Knows Where Kailaasa Is But Nithyananda Is Issuing Visas, Flights To The Mystery Nation
Now it has been reported that Nityananda is issuing e-visas and chartered flights for people to visit Kailaasa, which according to its official website is the world's greatest Hindu nation. The irony here is that other than the website, nobody for sure knows if and where Kailaasa is geographical.
Rape accused self-styled godman Nithyanand who became an internet meme for his absurd spirituality speeches has been missing from India since November 2019.
While that has been established, everything else about him since has been a mystery and as absurd as his sermons.
The self-styled godman is once again back in the news nearly a year after he announced the formation of his own new country - Kailaasa.
Issuing e-visas
Now it has been reported that Nityananda is issuing e-visas and chartered flights for people to visit Kailaasa, which according to its official website is the world's greatest Hindu nation.
The irony here is that other than the website, nobody for sure knows if and where Kailaasa is geographical.
Last year, after Nityananda announced the formation of Kailaasa, it was reported that his so-called nation was an island in Ecuador, which he had allegedly purchased.
While the South American nation has since denied that it has sold any island to the controversial godman, Nityananda went on to make announcements about a new parliament, Reserve Bank, and currency for Kailaasa.
However, the clue to the location of Kailaasa may lie in the new visa and chartered flights. According to the announcement, the chartered flight named Garuda will be operating from Australia, so one can assume that Kailaasa is somewhere nearby, that is if it exists for real.
So, if one is to visit Kailaasa, they have to create an e-mail ID through which visitors can apply for the visa.
Once the e-visa is approved you have to reach Australia from where you will be flown to Kailaasa.
The visitors will be allowed to stay in Kailaasa for a maximum of three days and you can have only one darshan of the godman, and the duration of it can from 10 minutes to 1 hour.
The announcement also mentioned that food and accommodation for the three days will be free.
Nithyananda fled India in November, facing arrest for kidnapping and forcibly retaining several girls in his Ashram. He faces multiple charges being tried in several courts in India apart from the French government which is investigating him for allegedly duping a devotee off nearly $400,000.
In February, even as the Interpol has served a blue-corner notice against the self-procalimed spiritual guru, Karnataka Police told Karnataka High Court that they failed to serve him notice because he is on a spiritual tour.
He has also several other cases against him, dating back to 2010 when he was booked for the rape of a former disciple.
