River Ganga Gets A Living Person's Identity By Uttarakhand HC & It Calls For A Celebration!
The Uttarakhand High Court has declared river Ganga the first living entity of India. River Yamuna has also been declared as a living entity. Both the rivers will now be awarded all human rights as provided in our Indian Constitution.
Only recently, New Zealand's parliament laid to rest a 160-year-old campaign and offered its Whanganui River legal personhood.
Today, Indians have found their own reason to celebrate because the Uttarakhand High Court has declared river Ganga the 'first living entity of India'.
