The whole country has united against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act with people, mostly students, protesting against the new bill. Jamia Millia Islamia University students vehemently protested against the bill. Protestors even thronged India Gate in central Delhi and what caught the eye of netizens was two Sikh brothers who had arranged tea and langar for the protestors.

A Twitter user had posted the short 15-second video captioning, "This is why we call Singh is King... Here is video of Sikh brothers who arranged chai langar in India Gate for protestors... Truly Heroes".

In the latest update over the all-India protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, home ministry officials said the Delhi Police did not fire a single bullet during the violent protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act at Jamia Millia Islamia on Sunday.

On the police arresting 10 people for indulging in arson and setting vehicles afire during protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, ministry sources said all 10 persons detained have a criminal background.

"No bullet was fired by the Delhi Police during protests at Jamia. All 10 persons detained have a criminal background. More anti-social elements are being tracked," an official said.

On Sunday, hundreds of Jamia students protested against the CAA, which led to the torching of four DTC buses and two police vehicles.

Police reportedly entered the Jamia library and hostels and detained scores of students. Students have alleged that the police opened fire on the protesters.

On Monday, the Delhi Police registered two separate cases against unknown people for arson and rioting.

The police said raids are being carried out in various parts of Delhi to nab those who indulged in violence during the protests.

Following the police crackdown against students in Jamia, several Delhi Police officers, including Additional Police Commissioner of South-Eastern district Kumar Gyanesh have been transferred.

The names of 10 more Delhi Police officers were also included in the transfer list released by the Home Department of the Delhi government on Monday. However, Delhi Police headquarters said that the transfers were "routine" ones.

Information to this effect has been issued on Monday by the Deputy Secretary of the Home Department of the government of Delhi. A total of 11 officers -- five IPS and six officers from DANIPS service of Delhi Police -- were mentioned in the transfer order issued.

According to the order, among the 2010 batch IPS officers, Brijendra Kumar Yadav has been removed from DCP security and sent as Additional DCP-1 North West District. Pratap Singh, an IPS officer from 2011 batch, has been removed from the post of Additional DCP-1 in South-West District and sent to South-Eastern District.

While in the south-eastern district, Kumar Gyanesh, Additional DCP-1, DANIPS service, has been removed and posted in South-West district in place of Pratap Singh.

Similarly, 2011-batch IPS officer Shankar Chaudhary has been removed as Additional DCP-PCR and given the charge of DCP-Traffic.

Abhishek Dhania, a 2012-batch IPS officer, has been moved from DCP-Traffic and sent as Additional DCP-1 Eastern District. Vikram Harimohan Meena (2015 batch IPS) has been moved from Additional DCP South-West District to to DCP-Traffic.
