Eight sets of twins in the same school
The astonishing revelation behind the mystery is that they are all twins. Not just one or two, but an incredible eight sets of twins all attending the same school!
The famed twin school is the Government Model English Medium Primary School in College Veng area of Aizawl, Mizoram.
Among them are three pairs of boy twins and four pairs of girl twins spread across classes from KG I to Standard II.
Even the school¡¯s headmaster H Lalventluanga's fraternal twins, a boy and a girl, study in the same school.
Teachers see it as a divine blessing
Despite the absence of a specific policy catering to the needs of twins, the teachers take immense pride in this extraordinary occurrence.
Residing in a predominantly Christian state, Lalventluanga expressed gratitude to God, describing it as a divine blessing for the school to have such exceptional children.
"Identical twins are a source of fascination and in our case, we were 'attracting' twins without any deliberate effort. We all are jubilant. Being a govt school, we cannot announce any policy of our own on taking care of the twins. We need to treat all students equally," Lalventluanga remarked.
Despite the absence of specialised policies, the teachers' joy and commitment to fairness shine through. This unique situation is a reminder of the unexpected joys that can enrich school life and bring communities together.
