Soldier Who Posted Video On Poor Quality Of Food Forced To Take It Down, Officials Deny His Charges
Tej Bahadur Yadav has now said the that he is being put under pressure by the authorities to take down the video. The Border Security Force BSF has rejected allegations levelled by Yadav about the quality of treatment the soldiers are getting at the border.
The controversy regarding a BSF soldier, who poster his tell all video sharing his suffering does not seem to be ending soon. The soldier, identified as Tej Bahadur Yadav, has now said the that he is being put under pressure by the authorities to take down the video.
Yadav, told India Today that he was transferred from the BSF camp to the headquarters. He alleged that he was asked to do a plumber's duty. "I am not afraid of losing my job...I have shown what the reality is at the post". "If soldiers [are] benefited because of me, then I am ready to fight," he told India Today.
Meanwhile, the Border Security Force (BSF) has rejected allegations levelled by Yadav about the quality of treatment the soldiers are getting at the border.
DIG BSF MDS Mann said Yadav had a history of disciplinary issues.

"He has four bad entries in his 20 years of service, hence, wasn't promoted which can be cause of frustration," MDS Mann said.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday IG BSF, DK Upadhyay said BSF is considering disciplinary action against Yadav as carrying mobile phones while on duty is not permitted.
"He has indulged in interdisciplinary actions in the past too. He was to be court-martialed in 2010 but considering his family he wasn't dismissed. Right now, he will be shifted to a different headquarter so that no one can pressurise him and fair enquiry can be held," Upadhyay said.

While admitting that the quality of the food served to the soldiers "might not be great" Upadhyay said no one else have made any complaints on this.
"As far as the food is concerned. I can agree that taste might not be very great as in winters there is tinned and dehydrated food but have never received any complaint from jawans regarding the same," he said.

After Yadav's video went viral on Monday the Home Ministry had ordered a probe into the allegations.
BSF had however claimed that the soldier had a disturbed past and needed counselling since the start of his career.
