Unnao Horror: College Student Took Energy Pill, Raped Girl Till She Fainted & Began Bleeding

Three days after an 18-year-old girl was found dead at her residence with injuries in her private parts and some of her clothes removed, Unnao police Sunday arrested a local youth for rape and murder. The postmortem concluded that the girl died from excessive bleeding from her private parts, shock and hemorrhage.

The 25-year-old man raped the college student when she was alone at home. During investigation, the man claimed to have taken a performance enhancing pill before the act.

Despite the victim's protest, he continued to rape her till she fainted and started bleeding from her private parts, police said. Seeing this, Gautam got scared and ran away leaving her bleeding.

Later, her younger sister returned home to find the victim, a second-year college student, unconscious on the bed. She was taken to the hospital where doctors declared her dead, police said. Police said the arrested man, who is pursuing post-graduation and stays in a hostel, was known to the girl. Police also claimed that they have found a chat between the accused and the victim but her mother denied her daughter having an affair with anyone.

Accused confessed to his crime

Superintendent of Police Siddhartha Shankar told news agency PTI that the victim's father had initially alleged that a 28-year-old neighbour and a 65-year-old woman were involved in the incident.

Based on their claim, police had booked them. However, after Gautam confessed to the crime and was arrested, the two neighbours were reportedly given clean chit.

This comes just 2 days after a school manager was charged for allegedly raping a student, police said on Friday. The accused manager named Shahadat used to repeatedly rape the girl after school time, threatening her with dire consequences if she discloses the matter to anyone.

SP rural Iraj Raja said the girl told everything to her mother who lodged a complaint against the manager. The manager is absconding from his residence, they said.
