The video opens with the camel stuck in a white car, its indicator lights flashing. Locals quickly gathered around, trying to assist as the camel continued to grunt in pain. Sachin Gupta, an X user, shared the clip, writing, ¡°Rajasthan: Accident involving a camel and a car in Hanumangarh district. The camel got stuck in the windscreen of the car and got injured. The car occupants are safe.¡±
Viewers of the video reacted with concern and sympathy. One user described the scene as ¡°very dangerous,¡± while another commented, ¡°Very sad, a human being can express his pain but the poor animal has to understand his pain.¡± Another user prayed, ¡°God save us from these accidents.¡±
According to media reports, the car¡¯s driver sustained minor injuries and was understandably frightened by the incident. He was taken to a nearby hospital for first aid and later discharged.
The camel, however, remained trapped for a significant amount of time. A crane was eventually brought in to free the animal, and a veterinarian provided treatment on-site. The rescue operation caused considerable traffic delays.
This incident is reminiscent of a similar event in December 2018 in a Middle Eastern country, where a camel became lodged in the cabin of a Toyota Corolla sedan. Footage from that incident showed the animal struggling with its head stuck through the car¡¯s roof.
