Amid the divided views on this video, it should be noted that Mahatma Gandhi used a special Ram bhajan to bring people together when they were fighting against the British. The song is called "Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram," and it's originally from a longer hymn called Sri Nama Ramayanam.
Gandhi really believed in peace and getting along, even when things were tough. He thought this song could help unite people. So, he changed some of the words and made it more popular.
He would sing this song during protests and gatherings. Because the song was easy to understand and like, it helped people from different religions and cultures work together against the British.
