- These planned routes will allow for easy and smooth commutes of vehicles with heavy loads to Film City.
- These prominent interchanges will also help private vehicles & allottees of sectors 18 and 20 and other nearest regional areas along the Expressway.
- And, most importantly, both of these interchanges had been planned to be built in Bhaipur village.
- This will offer direct route connectivity to the film city, Uttar Pradesh.
- This project also aims to create huge job creation in filmmaking, post-production, hospitality, tourism, and logistics.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), YEIDA Suggestions on this Project
Arun Vir Singh, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of YEIDA, said, ¡°Once Film City gets operational, there will be heavy traffic on these interchanges, causing huge inconvenience. Separate entry and exit points are required to cater this need. This will also benefit those commuting to the airport.¡±
This enticing UP region is all set to witness major developments, growth opportunities, and advancement in the upcoming year. Also, Uttar Pradesh is set for its 2nd film city, which will soon be developed on the Yamuna Expressway, in the YEIDA region. For this proposed plan, around 1,000 acres of plots have been planned.
Timeline to Secure Land for the Project
The required possession of land will be taken on 27 February for the construction of Film City.
Boney Kapoor, the chairman of Bayview Projects, will take possession of this land. Moreover, Dr. Arun Veer Singh, CEO of Yamuna Authority, had highlighted the requirement of these interchanges/ramps to overcome these excess traffic jams. He also suggested that, based on future requirements, more of these construction provisions will be planned to ease the traffic for commuters.
Hence, it is highly expected that two more interchanges on this 60-meter could be added later if traffic continues. This interchange will also connect regional, residential, and industrial sectors via traffic congestion. Also, this development will provide direct route access to Agra and Delhi.
