Although India didn¡¯t play in FIFA it had a glorious representation by Deepika Padukone unveiling the trophy and Nora Fatehi opening the event with her dance performance.
Nora who performed her FIFA anthem in both the opening and closing ceremony of FIFA shared a clip from the event and wrote on Instagram, "And then it happened.. Fifa Worldcup closing ceremony.. Light the sky.. @fifaworldcup han¡¯ds down the most beautiful epic moment in my career! The World was watching¡±

Earlier Nora performed at the FIFA fan festival on December 1 in Doha and danced to several Bollywood hit numbers. Nora also waved the Indian flag at the event and screamed Jai Hind during her performance. The finale wherein was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan, Mohanlal, Ranveer Singh, Mamooty, and Kartik Aaryan among other Indian celebrities.
Nora on the personal front recently filed a defamation case against Jacqueline Fernandez in conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar's money laundering case.
