In the wedding, the caterers from Gudivada in Krishna District got a contract after 3 long months. They were asked to arrange the catering for 150-200 plates for the function.
The host of the wedding, keeping the situation and the protocols in mind, asked the caterers to make sure that all waiters and team were wearing PPE kits while maintaining proper hygiene. Systemic temperature checks were also done and sanitizers were used. The guests were later served by dozens of waiters wearing PPE kits.
After the function got over, the kits were disposed off properly.
Coronavirus Pandemic Guidelines
Andhra Pradesh has noticed a current rise in the coronavirus cases and has entered the list of top five worst hit states in the whole country. The state has also authorized the Tahsildars to issue clearance to the wedding foundation. And without any approval, no marriage will be allowed in the state.
The wedding season has began in full force and the state is witnessing many marriages and to be on a quick end, the Tahsildars have been given authorities by the government to give permissions as this way the collectors will be less burdened.
