An adorable puppy found abandoned outside a stadium has been adopted by a baseball team as an official member of their "staff". The collegiate baseball league, Savannah Bananas, are thrilled to have the bundle of joy on their team.

Now named Daisy, the seven-month-old pup was found crying outside the Grayson Stadium in Savannah, Georgia. She was picked up by a staff member and was later adopted by Jared Orton - the team's president - and his wife, Kelsey.

Daisy was checked-in to a veterinary clinic but was found in a pretty healthy condition, save for dehydration and hunger. Now she comes in to the office every day to greet customers and help sell the team's official merchandise.
"We aren¡¯t sure how big she¡¯ll get, so it¡¯s hard to say if she¡¯ll be able to pick up a bat or just coach first base. But as she grows, she¡¯ll be a fixture at the ballpark," Orton told the team¡¯s website.
