The famous home of the character Walter White from the popular show Breaking Bad is now available for purchase.

This four-bedroom, one-bathroom, 1,910 sq. ft. property in Albuquerque, New Mexico, has just hit the market with a hefty price of $4 million.

Since the popular series wrapped up in 2013, the house has attracted fans from across the globe, who flock to take photos outside, day and night.

However, despite the constant attention, the interior remains off-limits to visitors, according to local news outlet KOB 4 Eyewitness News.

How the Albuquerque property became the 'Walter White' house

Joanne Quintana, one of the current owners who grew up in the house with her siblings, shares how their house became the Walter White house.

It all goes back to 2006, when a random knock on the door changed everything, as a film crew introduced themselves and asked to use the house for a pilot.

After confirming the project was legitimate, the family gave permission, and two weeks later, filming began.

The show Breaking Bad ended up becoming a huge hit, winning Emmy Awards and leaving its mark on the quiet street.

Quintant's late parents, Fran and Louis Padilla, had bought the home in 1973.

Quintana shared in an interview, "Now that my parents are gone, it's time to sell. This was our family home for almost 52 years. We're walking away with just our memories. It's time to move on."

Internet reacts

A Reddit thread about the house even sparked some hilarious attempts to crowdfund it, with people launching GoFundMe pages like "Buy the house for Mistah White!" and "Buy Heisenburger House."
