There was a report of a big cat sitting there. From the description, it was apparently a cheetah. It did not seem threatening, as per reports.
Deputy Sullivan approached cautiously and it was only when he came really close that he realised it was not real.
On the way, he had got in touch with the Oregon Zoo to check if any cheetahs had escaped as this is not their natural habitat.

While one does see the funny side of it, imagine if it had been a real big cat. The place would have been in panic mode.

One should avoid leaving food and garbage outside, as animals are already stuffed.
Pets should be kept indoors at dawn and dusk, shelter them for the night.

One should not leave valuables unsecured as this could attract thieves during the holiday season.
People should remove heavy brush from near the house and play areas, this species may attract small pets and children.
Everyone should install motion-activated light outdoors along walkways and driveways, it would be quite the headline if they moved.
