Titanic Sub: Spine-Chilling Videos Showing What Implosion Looks Like Surface On Social Media
As the rescuers are still trying to find debris to recreate the vessel's final moments, several videos with spine-chilling visual representations have emerged, claiming to show what an implosion looks like.
It has now been claimed that the Titanic submersible instantly imploded after the vessel descended to the dark depths of the sea, thereby suggesting that five people on board, missing since Sunday, died in the accident.
As the rescuers are still trying to recreate the vessel's final moments, several videos with spine-chilling visual representations have emerged, claiming to show what an implosion looks like.
Several videos with their interpretations
Among these clips is an old YouTube video of a railroad tanker abruptly collapsing, showing that such an implosion happens quickly.
A host of other videos have their interpretations of a similar implosion.

These include a video shared by a Twitter user depicting a military-like vessel unexpectedly flattening and folding like a taco-shaped piece of metal before ripping apart, leaving behind air bubbles and scattered debris.

Therein, the narrator stresses the rapid nature of the death that could happen on board during such an implosion.
The caption emphasises that the hull's destruction would compel the air inside the submersible to attain the temperature of the sun's surface within milliseconds.
Still no clarity on reason behind implosion
After briefing about the missing submersible's probable fate, Rear Admiral John Mauger told reporters in Boston that investigation showed remains found on the seafloor, 1,600 feet (500 metres) from the bow of the Titanic, was uniform with the implosion of the vessel's pressure chamber.
Mauger added the Coast Guard could not precisely ascertain when or why the vessel imploded. "We'll collect as much information as we can," he said.
Incident happened just after expedition began
On June 22, the US Coast Guard declared that the implosion had instantly claimed the lives of all five passengers as they began their expedition to explore the century-old remains of the Titanic.
Debris found on the ocean floor suggested a catastrophic loss of the pressure chamber, presumably due to the crushing weight of the ocean after the Titan lost communication with its surface vessel.
The victims of this tragic incident include British billionaire explorer Hamish Harding, French Titanic expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet, OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, and his 19-year-old son Sulaiman.
