After Big E, The New Day mock Wade Barrett for his 'retirement' from the ring
The New Day turned their attention to the WWE Raw commentary team and accused Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett of not telling the truth to fans. Woods claimed that Barrett and Big E had something in common as he and Big E were both not man enough to get back into the ring.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are continuing to attract heat onto themselves ever since The New Day turned their backs on Big E. Kingston and Woods, who made their way into the ring on Monday Night Raw, were met with boos by angry fans.

Woods then turned his attention to the WWE Raw commentary team and accused Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett of not telling the truth to fans.

Woods then took matters one step further and claimed that Barrett and Big E had something in common.
According to Woods, Barrett and Big E were both not man enough to get back into the ring.
Barrett then reminded Woods that he was retired.

The duo then got back into the ring, and Kingston said tonight was supposed to be a homecoming for him and for his mother, who was here in the front row from Ghana. Kingston accused the fans of ruining her experience.
Wade Barrett's retirement from WWE
The 44-year-old Barrett has never officially retired from WWE but has not been inside the ring since 2016. In November 2024, Barrett said he has "never retired" and is open to the possibility of wrestling again if the circumstances are right.

Last week, The New Day was asked to leave the WWE locker room by Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio over how Woods and Kingston ended their ten-year friendship with Big E, who is out with an injury.
