Don't Mess With Ishant Sharma! Matt Renshaw Learns It The Hard Way In Ranchi

When play started on Day 5 in Ranchi, India knew they needed early wickets.

They got one from their premier pacer Ishant Sharma. It was Matt Renshaw who found out the hard way not to mess with the lanky fast bowler.

Ishant had gone wicketless then till then, ran in to bowl when Renshaw pulled out. In frustration, Ishant threw the ball wide of Matt Renshaw towards wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha. The umpire calmed him down and that should have been it.

Non sadly it was not. Renshaw mouther a few words off at Ishant. Little did he know he had ignited a fire.

Bringing in a close-in fielder, Ishanr gave Renshaw the impression that a barrage of bouncers would follow. Instead he bowled outside the off stump and the delivery stayed low but moved in enough to trap Renshaw plumb.

The celebrations were wild by Ishant and Renshaw learnt never to get under his skin in the future. Fans went on Twitter to give their take on what had happened:
